Josh Tilford Stars in Short Film

Josh Tilford recently stared in a short film, “The Fencing Lesson” where he was both dance choreographer and had an important role as a student taking a fencing lesson. Ashley Wessel also had a cameo appearance as a fencing student and was the film’s makeup artist. The primary actors of the film had been searching for a dance studio willing to teach them the dance for the film. They had no experience with dancing. After many rejections from other studios, Josh got on board and began choreographing the dance for the film.

Filmmaking is a very collaborative affair. The filmmakers acknowledge that without Josh and Ashley’s help the film would not be what it is today. The short film debuts at the Arnold Sports Film Festival hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger as a part of the Arnold Sports Festival. The event is March 2 – 4, 2012. Fingers crossed that the film is selected as a finalist!
