“If you are a Salsa lover, then…..you ARE a SALSAMANTE!

As soon as Michael-Paul Newman was introduced to Salsa over 10 years ago, he fell in love. After moving to Columbus in 2009, he realized that the Salsa community in Columbus was in need of a Saturday night event to accommodate the growing number of people who wanted to learn and dance Salsa. After meeting his talented dance partner, Daniela Vrabelova, who was trained to Salsa in Barcelona, Spain, and being inspired by her beautiful spirit for the Salsa, his passion for the dance form grew even more. Over time, Michael-Paul partnered with his friend and local Salsa legend Carlos Rubio  to bring Salsamante to the city of Columbus. Salsamante, or Salsa Amante, means Salsa Lover. So, are you ready to become a SALSAMANTE?

The group class is taught by Carlos Rubio, the Salsa King of Ohio. In this class you will learn everything you need to know to dance the Salsa, plus more!  “Salsmantes” will learn how to dance the salsa, develop new and lasting friendships, and gain the experience needed to be confident, social dancers in the Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and other Latin forms of dance.
